English and film
My essay was about why English is important when working on movies and I decided to dive into the job of location scouting and the language most spoken in the world. Here are the articles I used in my text.
The first article, written by the Backstage staff, explains the job of a location scout. Location scouts are the people responsible for finding where a movie will be filmed. They have to find the location that brings to life the director's vision while also making sure to stay within budget. They are typically some of the first people who are hired in the whole movie-making process because the locations need to be secured long before filming starts. In the article, you will also find the salary for this job along with the skills snd experience you need to become a location scout.

The second article, which I found on The Washington Post website, is about all the languages in the world. Though there are many languages, about 7 102 to be more precise, almost two-thirds of the planet speak one of the 12 most spoken languages. Chinese has the most speakers with 1.39 billion globally but interestingly enough, English has the most learners with 1.5 billion around the world. English is also the language which is spoken in most countries, 101 countries, to be exact.
